Summer Writing Workshops at Nehemiah Center:
Firat Educational Solutions (FES) is proud to present its first annual Summer Writing Workshops for Houston-area students whose grade levels range from 3rd to 12th!  Why focus on writing?  Simply because writing is one of the more, if not the most, important fundamental educational skills for virtually anyone, at any age.  We designed FES Summer Writing Workshops to enhance your children's writing skills, styles, and confidence at an early age.  Most importantly, they will have fun at the same time as they learn. 

Registration deadline for all workshops is June 10, 2009.  Due to limited capacity, we advise your children to register as early as possible. Please review the different workshops and sessions catered to different grade levels below, and visit our website at http://Summer.FESHouston.com for more information and registration.  We look forward to providing your children with educational solutions for life.™

Micro-Enterprise Project:
A Partnership with Nehemiah Center and the Rotary Club of Houston
This Micro-Enterprise Project includes mothers from the Third Ward area of Houston; who earn additional income for their families and raise funds for worthy projects in their community. The Nehemiah Center incorporates a multi-faceted ministry model that utilizes education, emotional wellness and spiritual enrichment to provide assistance for low-income families who are invested in seeking a better future for their children.

Kappa Alpha Theta Charity Antiques Show on November 19-22
The Philanthropic Committee of the Houston Alumnae of Kappa Alpha Theta has named The Nehemiah Center as one of their beneficiaries for the
Theta Charity Antiques Show for 2009.  This year’s show will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center on November 19-22, (Thursday – Sunday) with a Preview Party on Wednesday, November 18.
